The veil before my eyes are torn,
now, I truly see your colours in high definition.
The thing is that you never hid them,
‘cos you let them show.
The fault is all mine,
‘cos I spent ages repainting you,
with the hope that my dabs of love
would soften the horridness,
but no amount of glitter I place on you
can hide your ugly sides;
now, I withdraw my paintbox,
I’m done with you.

No matter how much glitter i paint on you….. you that so true. Sometimes we have to conclude that is their part to play in the world and keep our peace of mind.
Jacqueline, wishing you and your family a beautiful Christmas and happy new year. Regards bella

I wish I had learnt some of these things a little earlier and saved myself a whole lot of stress. However, better late than never learning to just let go and have our peace of mind.

I heard that we learn when we are ready. We always feel if only i had learnt earlier, but earlier we would not have been as wise and ready to accept as we are today. We must be kind to ourself.. hugs

True words. We were probably not even ready to assimilate the learning at that point in time.
