Sharing My ULTIMATE VISION with You. Will You Share Yours?

Without Vision, The People Perish. Proverbs 29:18

Last week, I spoke about why it’s imperative to have a Blueprint for your life and the thing is that there’s no time better than now to have one.

As I began the journey of changing my life, my habits and creating the life of my dreams,  I realized that people avoid creating a vision for their lives because they believe the exercise is futile.

I’ve also observed that the most successful, interesting and accomplished people all have a vision for their lives. They have a life plan.

While, on the other hand, those who are stuck in a rut with that sense of hopelessness and simply passing time in life without joy and aspiration, lack a vision. In fact, many of them don’t even bother to have any long-term goals because at the back of their minds they silently feel ‘why bother when it’s not going to be impossible to accomplish these things?’

Having a vision and being able to change your life complement each other. It’s not a silly waste of time!

Start from where you are. It’s never too late to begin.

I also promised to share my vision for my life. If you’ve got a moment to spare you can listen in and share your thoughts as well.

  1. Hi Jacqueline, hope you’re feeling less tried now, I appreciate you taking the time to get this video out. Great content on the importance of setting a vision. I wrote a mission statement a few years ago and had that framed. A vision statement is now on my to-do-list.

  3. Hi Jacqueline, I hope you are feeling a little better, I just want to stand up in full support of what you are saying in your video, it is only when you are personally touched by health problems do we realise how important time and what we do with it, really is to us all, so my message to anyone would be enjoy your life everyday, be happy with what you have, love and be loved always…………..<3

  4. Jacqueline, Thank you for another excellent video. Hope you are feeling stronger. I can empathize with health challenges as I’ve had several hospitalizations and literally had my life pass before my eyes. It is during those moments when you don’t know whether you’re gonna stay in this world or pass into the next that you realize how precious life is. While I was listening to your video I was reminded of the Bible Scripture the Lord gave me way back in the mid-1980s.

    Habakkuk 2:2-3
    King James Version (KJV)

2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

    1. Thank you, sis. I am getting better by the day. Health scares truly shakes one up and makes us realize the important things. I love this Bible passage. It helps to keep my eyes on my vision. I appreciate your support, Deborah – your name always reminds me of a strong woman.

  5. Hi Jackie,
I loved the youtube video of your vision. At some time could you share what would be the difference between a mission and a vision and do humans have missions too ?
I hope you get better and stronger each day, physically and spiritually.
As to your being a credible influencer, you are one of mine.:)
Do you remember how we met about a year and a half ago ?
I commented on someone’s blog post asking them what the vision or idea behind their blog was and you replied to me that there was no need for a blog to be single directional but it could just be random- and then we became friends.
I wonder also if when we write a vision down, should it be ordered ?
Meaning which should come first, which of the items should I number first and work on first or should I just write them as I get them in my brain and work on all of them at once?

    1. Thank you, Susie, for taking the time to watch it and comment. I am glad that you find it useful. I will do the mission video soon and let you know and yes, of course, people do have missions. I am getting better and accept your good wishes. Our vision does not need to have what comes first on it. It should simply encompass all aspects of your life such as your core values, passion, dreams, health, relationship etc. I choose to write an all-encompassing vision so that all other parts of me grow and not just one dimension of me, in that case, it’s a random vision (different parts) but with specific goals in mind.

  6. I had a health scare the past week and still waiting for final results and I agree with you, it really makes you reflect on your mortality. Everyone dies but not everyone lives!! Glad you’re doing ok. I do remind God of his promise of long life and prosperity.
Love and light to you Jacqueline.
