Mundane Monday is created to find beauty in almost everything.
The challenge is simple. Find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs.
Though these are the fallen ones, the cluster of bougainvillea still look pretty and can be pretty useful even as they are. They can be dried and used for a potpourri.
Asides from their ornamental qualities, the bougainvillea is known to have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-tumor, anti-fertility properties, treating diabetes etc.
Interesting post! Thanks fir sharing! Happy Monday

I went to a wedding recently and they used dried bougainvillea as confetti. It was so lovely! I suppose for the healing qualities you boil it like a tea?

It makes lovely confetti. I’ve seen that used as well at a wedding. Yes you boil them. They are also good for cough, but shouldn’t be taken in large quantities.
