Online Blog Party

Thank you for coming to my Spring party.Β I love Spring. It’s a beautiful season with a lot of refreshing promises of budding life and blooms. A season of rebirth.

Do make yourself comfortable. Refreshments are nicely arranged down the page: Drinks, Chocolates, Cakes, Donuts, freshly squeezed juice, Coffee, Tea and so much more. :-)

The little party rules.

  • Be friendly. Mix and mingle with others. Don’t be a wallflower. Blog parties offer the opportunity to meet many other bloggers in one place. Use the opportunity effectively.
  • Β Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with an introduction.
  • It’s one link per comment, but come back as often as you’d like, that way it’s easier for others to focus on a link one at a time.
  • Have fun, this is a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
  • Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!

So, start by telling us where you are blogging from.

Is Spring showing signs in your neck of the woods yet?

  1. Thanks for inviting me to the party, Jacqueline! I’m looking forward to checking out some of the other blogs here — what an interesting variety of work and writers.

I’ve been blogging at riddlefromthemiddle.com for almost two years now. The tag line is “real life with a side of snark” because some people find my sense of humor a wee bit (ha!) sarcastic, but it gets me through. The best compliment I get from followers I’ve met is that it’s funny and makes them feel like they’re not alone. (Trust me, the crazy is real.) I write about everything from dogs and tween hormones to adoption issues and current events. Hope to see some of you soon!

  2. Oops…and we have an indecisive spring in North Carolina. A good number of days in the 70s have caused blooms everywhere, but we’re back down in the 50s this weekend so I’m freezing my patootie off. Hopefully we’ll level out at something soon.

  3. Looks like my comments fly into spam if I include a link, but if you click on my name, you head straight to my blog.

In the meantime, I’m looking forward to heading your way to share in the festivities!

  4. Hey, Jacqueline. Thanks for the invitation. I don’t know if the party’s still going on, but if I came late, I’d help you clean up while we chat. It’s a little chilly here on the Carolina coast, but the trees and azaleas are budding nonetheless. I’ll just Trust the Timing, which is the title of my upcoming book. My work in progress is taking longer than I thought it would, but like spring, it will come! Peace and Blessings to all!

  5. Hey there, thanks for inviting me over. I know there is always great food and company at your parties. We are actually heading into fall down here in Australia. But the weather is still so much more like summer. We spent one of the days on the beach last week and watching my girl made me think about a lot of things which I shared here. https://amommasview.wordpress.com/2017/03/01/just-like-waves/
Now let me grab a bite and mix and mingle with everyone else…

    1. Thank you for finding the time to step in Sandra. It’s always fascinates me to find out that the weather is so diverse from place to place. This is one of the reasons that I just love visiting new places ‘cos there’s so much to see.

  6. Oh my! So much food! You are trying to put weight on me … and here I am trying to lose 10 pounds! Ah well, it IS a party after all, and you are known for your wonderful hospitality, so I must … eat, drink and be merry! Sorry I was a little late to the party … been a hectic day! In case anybody would like a little chuckle, as you know I always do a humorous post on Monday mornings, so here is a link to last Monday’s post: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/03/us/politics/trump-russia-links-washington.html Thanks again for the invite … I will go mingle a bit now!

  7. Hi everyone! Jaqueline, thanks for the invite. I see you have lots of food which is good because I cut my finger the other day and am not allowed in the kitchen until it is better ;-).
I will make up for it next time for sure – you know how I love to bring the decadent stuff!

For those of you who don’t know me, I am Lydia and my blog is called “Being Lydia”. It is a very raw and honest look at my life – my chronic illnesses, my past, family, interests and anything else that is on my mind. I often write about music, food, pets, and tributes to those who have passed. You can find me at https://beinglydia.com.

  8. Hi! Thanks for the invite. I’m Di and we live on a boat in the UK. Spring is all around us, ducks are pairing up ready for the mating season, geese are flying low overhead and the cygnets from last year are almost ready to be independent, they are so big! Have a poke around my blog for recipes, boat living, the dog, weight control and the odd poem. Hopefully something will interest you and you’ll come aboard. You’ll be most welcome!

  11. Back for another day of partying! Loving the music, which I need to groove to in order to burn off the calories from that fabulous cooking shown above! At https://juantetcts.wordpress.com/ I share inspiration on various topics including my 70 pound weight loss journey (maintained 11 years), my 7 year journey to becoming debt free (including a son graduating debt free from college) and my journey to self-worth and self-discovery post divorce (including returning to school at 49 and starting my Transformation Life Coach business at 50!). I frequently share motivational quotes and sprinkle in random thoughts about life in general!

I’ve found this party (great food BTW) via The Showers of Blessing.
    My blog is: https://dariakill.wordpress.com/2016/12/07/the-throes-of-moe-other-cat-astrophes/
I write about my life experiences, going backwards chronologically (just to be different).
But then again, I’m in Australia & everyone knows water goes down the plug hole clockwise down here! & we’ve also just started autumn, but it’s still shorts & t-shirt weather!

  14. Thanks for the invitation and all the lovely treats, Jacqueline! My name is Joanne and I am writing from upstate New York, USA, where spring is still a ways off. It is below freezing with just a bit of snow in some shady areas, but we should see some warmer weather and spring buds over the next few weeks.

My blog is called Top of JC’s Mind and is very eclectic, mixing personal stories with poetry, politics, movies, spirituality, and whatever else pops into my head. You can browse it here: https://topofjcsmind.wordpress.com/. Thanks!

  16. Surfing and reading older blog postings led me here. I am from Seminole, Florida, on the beautiful Gulf Coast. I write of my life and growing up–and some few other bits and pieces. Take a look and enjoy. Laugh–and be remembering how it was and maybe still is. Like ice cream? Snow? School buses? Read all that good stuff, and other stories about Chicago. htpps://www.memoriesofatime.blog

  17. Hi there Jacqueline…. I am sooooooo sorry!! So much was going on last weekend, I worked late nights both Saturday and Sunday, and I turned older and other stuff happened, and I ended up totally forgetting to pay a visit….

So I wanted to come and say Hi anyway… I’ve seen many familiar faces while scrolling down, and I’ll make sure to go visit some of the new ones πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  18. Hi Jacqueline…thanks for hosting this spring party and love all your photos of yummies :). Sorry I’m late to the party but I’ve been distracted training for the Los Angeles marathon (I’m running in 2 weeks :0), and the weather is finally good enough that I’ve lost time in my garden! We’ve had an unseasonably wet winter so I’m glad the weather is cooperating finally. But with the wet weather comes spring flowers…I can’t wait to see the wildflower blooms at Anza Borrego! (I did a series of 4 on Anza Borrego hikes awhile ago). My blog is about my various hiking adventures (a lot of times with the great company of my kids), gardening, and healthy living. Lately I’ve also gotten into photo challenges and running adventures.

My latest post is on marathon training:

Marathon Training: An Experience By Itself

And I love feedback and comments! πŸ™‚

This party looks like lots of fun so I’m looking forward to meeting fellow bloggers. πŸ™‚

Have a wonderful day! Thanks again!
