Just some little party rules:

  1. You must mix and mingle with others. Don’t be a wallflower. Go say hello to someone and you can participate in the Tag a poem, a thought or quote below.
  2. Let us know where you are blogging from.
  3.  Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with introductions.
  4. It’s one link per comment, but come back as often as you’d like, that way it’s easier to focus on a link at a time for others.
  5. Please reblog, spread the word of the party like butter, or like, share on Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, etc. Tell your family, friends,  blogging neighbours, even your blogging pets.
  6. Have fun, it’s a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
  7. Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!

Thank you for coming to my party and supporting my blog. Have a great weekend You rock.

Tag along a poem

The Bats From Hell and the headless man with an axe

descended on him with bloodcurdling screeches.

He tried to run, but his feet could barely move

terrified and rooted to the spot, he waited for the axe to fall

Do You Remember?

I’m sure you remember Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller.’ That music scared the heck out of me. What about you?

  1. Hi again, y’all 🙂 Now I’d like to get your attention, please….

    *clapping in hands*

This is not about me… It is about a dear dear (almost deer – you’ll understand if you visit her) friend of mine. You very well might know her already, but if you don’t… It is a crime! She is resting and can’t attend the party herself, but she allowed me to share my choice of post from her blog “The Cabbage Patch”…

Linda is a sweetheart, a beautiful soul, hilarious woman, and a great writer! Her life is bigger than fiction, and I know you’ll enjoy her stories…

Here’s the first post I read from her blog, and it got me hooked to her humor right away 🙂

Visit her and give her some love!!! (I want her to be all fuelled up and back to the keyboard really really soon!!! )

    Thank you 🙂 🙂 🙂

  2. Wow! Look at all of you party animals! Great party so far, Jacqueline. Hello everyone! I am Lori and I am a bit of a poet and a writer of Science Fiction, Noir-style Whodunit mysteries, and horror.

Since it is the spookiest time of year, I would like to invite you all to pop over to my blog ‘Promptly Written’ and check out some of my horror tales. There are 29 scary, twisted and bizarre tales to choose from. Read one, or all of them. Your choice! Leave me a comment to let me know you’ve read and a link back to a post on your blog that you’d like me to read. Mingle, Mingle!

  3. Hi all, I’m Alison and I’m writing from country Western Australia. Halloween isn’t so big here but people still like to use it as an excuse to have fun and why not? My blog is called The Nut Factory and I blog about my personal experience with mental health and anything else mental healht related that catched my eye. I’m big on sharing stories and breaking down stigma. Have great party everyone 🙂

  4. Hello Everybody 🙂 Thanks Jaqueline for inviting me to the party. I too am from India and I dont know much about Halloween but time to find out I think! We do have Diwali or the Festival of lights. I would like to wish you all a very happy Diwali – may the darkness vanish from all our lives – err except when we want to sleep 😉 Btw I also spotted the 10 differences – phew never had the patience or the eye as a child. I am not very clear what exactly happens during the party but I will be back to read and learn – thanks!

  6. Thanks for the invitation to your wild party. I’m a bit concerned your bartender might appear in my dreams, I mean nightmare. Those sound effects enhance the spookiness, and those howls will stay with me long after i leave. Always love Thriller! Good fun today, thanks for checking out my funhouse face.

  7. Hey thanks for this opportunity Jacqueline!

My name is Vic and I try to be anything but ‘Just Plain.’ My blog started out as a mental health blog but has since evolved into me writing about family, daily life, food and photography. Basically whatever captures my interest, so hopefully my blog will capture yours. Feel free to stop by, stay awhile and comment to your hearts content.

I actually didn’t realise that it was Halloween.

Ah! The Thriller music video SCARED me to bits as a child, I watched it as an adult and I laughed so hard, all the special effects did not look scary any more. Lol
