Come on in, let’s get this party started. You are most welcome.
Do make yourself comfortable.
Refreshments are nicely arranged down the page: Drinks, Chocolates, Cakes, Donuts, freshly squeezed juice, Coffee, Tea and so much more.
We even have an Intercontinental Chef in the house, just place your orders
The little rules of play:
- You must mix and mingle with others. Donβt be a wallflower. Go say hello to someone and you can participate in the Tag a poem/story below, spot the difference, riddle and do tell us where you are partying from π
- Β Please leave your blog link or post link in the comment box below along with an introduction.
- Itβs one link per comment, but come back as often as youβd like, that way itβs easier to focus on a link at a time for others.
- Please reblog, spread the word of the party like butter, or like, share on Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Facebook, etc. Tell your family, friends, Β blogging neighbours, even your blogging pets.
- Have fun, itβs a great way to find bloggers and have them find you.
- Please show some love. Reblog this post. It helps all of us! The more people that see and participate in it, the more potential new follows! So, share and share voraciously!
There we have it. Since all the rules have been clearly explained, have fun and make the most of it
Thank you for coming to my party and supporting my blog. You rock.
- Let’s get to know you better. Where are you partying from?
I’m currently in Dubai – acronym DXB. A fabulous desert city in United Arab Emirates.
A little Summer tale…
We wore Summer dresses
spun like flower coloured cotton
that sat on each stalk
…….Feel free to add yours in the comment. I collate everyone’s contribution and publish it with their links attached.
Can you spot the difference?
Can you help the poor farmer below?
A poor farmer went to the market to sell some peas and lentils. However, as he had only one sack and didn’t want to mix peas and lentils, he poured in the peas first, tied the sack in the middle, and then filled the top portion of the sack with the lentils.
At the market, a rich innkeeper happened by with his own sack. He wanted to buy the peas, but he did not want the lentils.
Pouring the seed anywhere else but the sack is considered soiling.
To trade in sacks is not allowed. The farmer can’t cut a hole in his sack.
How would you transfer the peas to the innkeeper’s sack, which he wants to keep, without soiling the produce?
Please have some fun, mingle and make friends. Thank you π
P.S. You can send in your music request and I’ll try to find it. The Michael Jackson is on Nedoux request. Thank you, girl.
Macaroons * oh god auto correct that s not even close! Haha

Good Morning Jacqueline. Thanks once again for being a gracious host. I would like to leave a blog of my own and a friend today. My blog has poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. I’m completing #Maydays prompts right now and Writing 101 #everdayinspiration prompts.
I’m happy to say yesterday I finally, completed the last first draft chapters of my novel. They are posted in my blog and hopefully, finish things off for my main characters John and Nina, and make you interested what will happen for Jordan regarding the former villian Talise, and John’s other brother Jasper with Nina’s friend, Rianne. Please leave comments about the novel, it’s very helpful.

Here is a fiction post from the lovely Marquessa. Her fiction is awesome. I really want her to write a book. She is excellent at leaving the reader hanging, waiting for the next part. Here is a piec she wrote:

Now to do some words for the poem tag. Also I forgot to mention: I’m from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
A little Summer taleβ¦
We wore Summer dresses
spun like flower coloured cotton
that sat on each stalk
Picking fluffy balls,
My soft white hands ached,
But this was our living.
So everybody no matter who
Picked the cotton
And inside I smiled,
Knowing in days not too
Far away; there’d be new–
Cotton dressers for my —
Three Sisters and I,
Whatever the colour or pattern,
Brand new, latest style.
For now the four of us picked,
In old cotton summer dresses
Sweltering and famished .

Slice of lemon on left not in right ,
sunglasses on the sun oval in right round in left!

Lucky for you and Ruby! Well Barney is in Doggie/Animal heaven…he passed back in 2001 and for the longest time I did not want to get another dog because my heart was so broken over losing him. Now I am so ready..but I want to be home all day with him/her, so I have decided to wait until I retire which technically wouldn’t be for 7 more years but I’m hoping I win the lottery or come into some good fortune so that I can retire sooner. I’d retire today if I could!!! But I bet he’s happy, running around playing with all the other dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles and any other person or creature that might cross his path!! hee hee…xoxo

I like to inspire and lift up people, so I have a daily grateful post that I do. I also love to write poems so I post poems from time to time or songs. I am enduring menopause right now so my original plan for my blog was to write entertaining stories about my “episodes” that occur since I’ve started going thru this, like how I go to 1000 degrees in seconds flat, I can turn into a raving lunatic for about 10 minutes and then be calm as a cucumber after that….or just fun stories of everyday life! I enjoy it. I love you jewelry! I asked on one of your posts, do you make it? I bet you’re looking forward to moving back home!! π

I big hello to you party people. I’m from Oklahoma USA. JUST CAME IN FROM transplanting some yard flowers. Need some tea. What better place to get some than from right here at Jacque’s party. Good to meet you folks. Sorry to be dropping by on the way to my shower. Give me some clean up time then maybe I can meet some of you at your place.

Gloverdeb , my spell check doesn’t like your name. I think I convinced it. Anyway nice that you dropped by . Since I’m out of the shower now I can return your hug without leaving dirty hand prints. It is always comforting to find friends at these parties. And they are wonderful places to find new folks. Hope for many friends to follow you.

Hello everyone! I have just spent the day visiting with family and floating in Mom’s pool. It was wonderful but I am exhausted! I’ve been reading through some of the comments — lots of amazing posts and people and blogs! Great party, Jacqueline!

I am Sandra (obviously). I am in the Northeastern U.S. My blog has poetry, fiction, and random other posts, both funny and serious. In April, I enjoyed writing poems for the A-to-Z challenge. And right now, my βSecret Admirerβ fiction seems to be well-loved β it is in progress, new βchaptersβ every Friday.
If youβd like to stop by and read, here is the first post (part 1) of that story:

Iβve posted 5 parts so far but they are quick readsβ¦ and more to come!
And of course, feel free to poke around at my poetry and other assorted posts. Sometimes I am funny, too. π
