The family reunion
Was a disaster!
Aunt Biddy
And aunt Jemimah
Got into a huge squabble.
Uncle Pete threw a punch
Aunt Agatha spat like a cat
Lot’s of secrets
Were let out of the bag
Food flew in the air
The table broke
The chairs broke
I ran for cover.

Disaster, The daily post prompt

I like this post. Reminds of some family meetings, maybe not as bad as this but you know when some tells the other person to shut up and then abuses rains start….

I have an idea. There was one Christmas in my dad’s village where my uncles’ got into very hot quarrel.

wow what a reunion, I’m glad “you” made it out alive! Sounds like it was a close call.

I guess so. Thankfully, it’s fiction but I can quite imagine such household.
