Ronovan knows how to pick the words. For this week, we got ‘Flash & Dance.’ I enjoy this Haiku challenge and I am glad I took it up. Thank you kind Sir 🙂
The flash of lissome thighs
As her skirt flounced with the dance
Set his spirits on high
************
His flash of false teeth
And his toupee that flew with his twist
Made her dance steps falter.

Your sense of humour shines through. 😀
Both Toupee and false teeth reminded me of a secretly balding Sugar daddy trying to impress a young girl at the night club. Lol
Short and sweet poem.

You are right on the money. I had a sugar daddy on my mind 😉

I understand her being turned off by his false teeth and the toupee, however she’ll be there, too. We’re all going there. She’s just been in a moment of denial. JMHO

True that. We will all get there, but in this case, I think he was aiming at a girl too young for his age 😉

I was eating a Subway sandwich and nearly choked on the second one. Wasn’t expecting the false teeth and a toupee lol.

I like these. Haikus are fun because they make you stop and really focus on the words and the emotion the convey.

I am enjoying them. The use of few words to say a good number of things. Thank you 🙂

The trials of dating and flirtations on a dancefloor- so dark in the club, you never know what you’re going to get 😂
Great haiku!
