Midnight Motivations and Musings #7

1455419910864[1]

A good number of us tend to search for all the excuses under the Sun to justify why we failed in something and to credit other peoples success with so many favourable conditions, which they supposedly didn’t earn.

That’s telling one’s self a lie, which is like eating comfort food to feel better about something.

Where there is a will, in there lies your way. Find it.

  1. Oh boy this is so true!! You always think, oh they’re so lucky…ha it’s not luck at all but all of the things you wrote!! You can pretty much accomplish anything once you are ready to!! 🙂

  2. To tweak one of the scriptures, ‘God’s favor falls on the diligent and the excuse makers equally’. And maybe some people are looking at “success” with skewed eyes–it’s not about being rich; one can live on almost nothing and feel supremely wealthy of heart and soul. (Hope I’m not preaching too much!)

  3. Amen! This is so true! Too many seek the success of others, never realizing, nor wanting to make, the sacrifices that person had to make to get there. Each person’s journey is different, and regardless the trials we face or the costs we pay, if we have the will to make it happen, it can! Don’t blame other people for your failures, mishaps or missed opportunities. Yes, tragedies do come, and they can alter our course for a while, but that does not mean the dream must die. It is what we do with the opportunities we have today that determine where we will be tomorrow! 😉 Good stuff. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
